I am writing this reference at the request of Mark Riedel, Vice President of Buckeye Blasting Corp.

Stoppe Management Services, Inc. is a property management company located in Plymouth, NH. We have several apartment buildings located in Plymouth and Ashland, NH. We were in search of a sub-contractor to do some rock and ledge removal in the basement area of one of our apartment buildings.

Buckeye Blasting Corp. came to our job location to assess the project, and was very knowledgeable regarding safety, and the best way to proceed with our project. Mark is a very honest, open person, and gave us a fair estimate of the cost of the project. We were on a tight time schedule, and mark was more than willing to accommodate this. Our project ran into a holiday weekend, and Mark and his crew offered to work right through in order to get the job done. He also kept us abreast of any unforeseen problems, and worked in some very adverse conditions without complaint.

In my opinion, Buckeye Blasting Corp. is an honest, hard-working company, willing to do what it takes to make the customer happy. As such, I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any blasting or rock removal projects.

We have worked with Buckeye Blasting on several projects, and they have not disappointed us.

I say this because they are, first and foremost, safe. Safety is a significant part of their corporate culture, and it shows on the job. They are reliable. They start projects timely and maintain each project's schedule. We have ben able to count on them being on the job when needed. They make themselves available until their portion of the project is complete. They are also productive while on the job which is one of the reasons why they are able to meet schedule demands.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and his company.

If you need to know anything further about them, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Just a note to let you know that the work you preformed for me at my subdivision in Rochester, Misty Lane, was efficient and well coordinated with all the safety precautions that were really impressive to me. I am very satisfied, and your pricing, I feel, was very fair for this type of blasting work.

Thank you for such a great job, you can be sure that I will highly recommend you to my associate contractors, who often are in need of a service such as yours, and I feel confident in telling them about your expertise. In any case that you possibly need a reference I would be pleased to tell anyone of my experience in hiring you for the job.

You can be assured I do appreciate the job you did for me and especially in this line of work such as yours, all the precautions you take doing your job with every safety code followed give your customers great peace of mind.

In 2002 J. A. McDonald, Inc. was contracted by the State of Vermont, Department of Transportation to construct four miles of road in Searsburg-Wilmington, VT. The time frame for this project was two years. I served as project manager for this job and was deeply involved in all aspects of the project. This included administration, scheduling, writing subcontracts, and doing change orders. During the course of this project I had the pleasure of working with Mark Riedel.

The roadway reconstruction of the project consisted of taking up the old road, including pavement, concrete, and aggregates. After this was completed the realignment would take place, including cuts, and fills to meet the sub grade requirements, then the placement of new select materials. There were three curbed girder bridges over the Deerfield River, 240,120 cubic yards of each, 92,000 cubic yards of solid rock to be blasted all at a cost of $21,000,000.

Mark's qualifications were quick to show up. Whenever there was a problem on the job with the drillers or blasters Mark was quick to respond and get them back on track. He showed a genuine loyalty to this company and had excellent people skills. Because of Mark's experience he made Buckeye Blasting Corp an asset to the project.

If I can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to call. I can be reached at either 802-464-0892 or 802-626-5201.

I highly recommend Buckeye Blasting for anyone's rock removal projects.

He worked with me recently to break up rocks in my new driveway without blasting (my choice). He showed up to work when he said he would, did the job in a timely manner for the price agreed upon. He was a pleasure to work with.
